Clinch training, or clinch sparring, is a really useful way to train for all kinds of fighting arts. Pictured here are Muay Thai boxers working on clinching techniques in a controlled way. I practice drills like this often with submission wrestling training clients as well as some of my regular training buddies. Working from a standing position in close proximity to your partner and exchanging punches, kicks, or simply working on maintaining a grip on each other with your hands and arms are all great ways to prepare for actual fights.
I've gotten an incredible amount of support to fund my upcoming video shoot with Wrestle4afee's DIMITRI. Thank you to everyone who's contributed so far. Once my goal is met I can set this match up since he will be here in the U.S. from France next week. All contributors get a free copy of the video and other gifts based on the contribution amount.
