So lately I've been hunting around for no-holds-barred submission wrestling matches and tournaments filmed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. This period of time was the Wild West of submission wrestling when gloves were optional, the rules were unclear, the fighting was primal and less polished, the action was uber-manly and often brutal. I've acquired an archive of rare fight footage from back then which I'll be making officially available next week. But today you can get a small sample of what will soon be available--a Russian no-holds-barred fight from 1999. Michael & Viktor punch, wrestle, kick, and choke it out good on the mat.
